Kimi wins the Brazilian Grand Prix and the Drivers Championship

Date October 23, 2007

Congratulations to Kimi for winning the Brazilian Grand prix and, against the odds, the drivers championship. Given that he won the most races this year (6) he deserves the championship. Congratulations also go to Lewis Hamilton for coming in second in his rookie year. Now, for 2008, can the FIA get out of micro-managing the series. In addition, can they please reinstate team rules. Formula 1 is a team sport and therefore, team rules should be allowed. Does anyone not believe that Ferrari used team orders (against the rules) to have Massa come second and allow Kimi to win the race. They have all but admitted it. In reality, they should be disqualified, and the championship given to Lewis Hamilton, but that would be ridiculous. Team rules should be allowed.
