Congratulations to Kimi for winning the Brazilian Grand prix and, against the odds, the drivers championship. Given that he won the most races this year (6) he deserves the championship. Congratulations also go to Lewis Hamilton for coming in second in his rookie year. Now, for 2008, can the FIA get out of micro-managing the [...]

Mosley dismisses Stewart’s resignation call
October 15, 2007
As reported in Autosport, Jackie Stewart has called for Max Mosley to resign, and, as expected, Max Mosley has dismissed his call. Jackie Stewart makes a lot of sense, and one of his comments really gets to one of the issues which is the FIA going beyond their authority when placing a scrutineer in the [...]
FIA official to ensure McLaren equality
October 11, 2007
As reported at Autosport, PitPass, and GrandPrix.com, the FIA, at the request of the head of the Spanish motor sport federation Carlos Gracia, has requested there be an FIA steward in the McLaren pits in Brazil to ensure equality. Stewart eyes legal action against Mosley
October 10, 2007

As reported in Autosport, the Italian magistrates that have interviewed Alonso and are planning on interviewing De la Rosa have said that they don’t plan on interviewing Hamilton. As I have mentioned before, I don’t understand why De la Rosa (and Coughlin) were only passing information to Alonso and not to Hamilton. There is an [...]

As reported in Autosport, the Prodrive entry for the 2008 F1 season is now in question. There are two problems with the entry: The Concorde agreement is meant to expire at the end of this season. The Concorde agreement does not allow for customer cars. There is meant to be a new agreement for 2008 [...]

Alonso expects McLaren equality in Brazil
October 8, 2007
As reported in Autosport, Alonso is now expecting equality in Brazil. After all of his whining in China about inequality, and his slamming of the McLaren team, he is now expecting equality. Obviously he didn’t think he had a chance of winning the drivers championship before the China Grand Prix and so he believed he [...]
